    • When I'm writing docs, I like to indent stuff, to keep everything organized, but don't want to make the reader click in a level to read the sub-text.
    • The directory displayer already ahd the ability to do this, it was just a matter of coming up with a way to trigger it from attributes.
    • I don't know how it will deal with all the possible nodetypes, but I know it works nicely for the kinds of stuff I'm doing with docs.
      • 1. Place the cursor top line of the document.
      • 2. Press Cmd-; to open the Quick Script window.
      • 3. Enter: op.attributes.setone ("allLevels", true) and press Enter.
      • 4. Click the Save button.
    • Obviously I'm using it here. :-)

    • I had an unpleasant thought as I was switching between my real account and a test account on my world outline server.
    • What if I get confused, or if the software should have a bug, and somehow I lost my entire world outline. I could just picture it.
    • I've had failures like that quite a few times over the years. And inevitably you have to try to type it all back in from memory. But as the outline develops, that becomes more of a problem.
    • So I decided now, before it happens, let's get a solid backup flow coming out of worldOutline.root.
    • There's a new global pref, in config.worldOutline.prefs.flBackupOutlines, defaults true.
    • If it's true, we maintain a folder for each user, in the S3 archive, organized by year, month and date, with snapshots of their outline each time it's saved. The backups are named 001.opml, 002.opml and so on.

    • I reported a problem to Anthony Eden at dnsimple.com, that domains created through their API were taking a very long time to become valid.
    • They looked into it, found a problem.
    • Now the Blorkmark button in the World Outline editor window works. No fixes required on my end. :-)
    • A picture named blorkmarkDialog.gif
    • Added a command to the menu in worldOutline, for the "master user" that allows you to create a new user entirely through the web.
    • You are prompted for a username and password for the new user.
