As we discussed in the podcast that's about to come out, I have a new updating mechanism that allows you to get the newest stuff before it's released through the update process. This allows us to test large changes before updating all users.
In this case, we're updating: 1. Worldoutline, 2. Radio2, 3. River2, 4. OPML Editor and 5. ServerMonitor, all to use Bootstrap 2.0.
There are display glitches, adn things that don't work yet. I especially want to get this in front of JavaScript/CSS people so they can help me figure out why, for example, the nodetype dialog on the Roots page in Worldoutline doesn't work in the new setup. As far as I can tell it's doing things the same way my test app does, and it works.
On the machine you want to update:
1. Choose Update opml.root from the File menu.
2. Jump to opmlEditor.packages.download.
3. Click Run.
Use the server as you normally would.
Report problems on the world-outline list.
Remember to include screen shots, urls of OPML files, urls of pages with mistakes, if possible. Try to help us nail down the problem.
Dave Jones has fixes for the nodetype dialiog problem mentioned here, and the twipsy ==> tooltip issue, mentioned in an earlier worknote.
For me, changing twipsy ==> tooltip didn't fix it, elsewhere when I tested it, I had made that change, and making the change on the Roots page didn't make the difference. I had to change the JavaScript, screen shot, and when I did, it worked. Here's a demo: Song.
