Adjix isn't working today, and there have been enough outages lately to make it necessary to develop a Plan B, where "B" is for bit.ly.

I had glue, but it was from 2008, and the API has changed a lot.

Luckily it was all very familiar and I had new glue up and running in about an hour, and installed on my radioReallySimple server, and hooked into the nytriver Twitter account.

The next place on the path is radio2.root, hooking blork.ly in to the posting operation.

Then I have to learn how to ask bit.ly for stats about links, and I'm assuming they have all that we need. If they don't, then we're going to lose some features. Fact.
