Reviewing styles in WorldOutline template

  • I set up a style section at the end of the head section in my template. These styles are the last to be applied, so the override all the others. My goal is to hack at the styles until it makes sense. Right now it's a total hodgepodge of stuff that was added here and there by different people. The whole doesn't make sense.
  • Also, hacking at the the macros for font size, style, color. May add them back later. Can eliminate the prefs panel. I want the styles to be self-documenting and simple.

    • Reviewed last night. Looks decent.
  • crumb trails
    • Reviewed, looks decent.
  • directories
    • No id's. I think they make sense in brochure websites. But the idea of coding style to the actual text of a headline, when that is so easy to change, is nonsensical. You're trying to create a design that any text can flow through. So until I understand how ID's would used and can explain them to people, they won't be there. One less thing to get in the way of grokking.
    • directoryItems and directoryComments had different styles. That meant that folders and links had different styles (since a link is considered a comment). Changed it so they have the same style. Looks infinitely better.
  • navmenu styles
    • Go away. We no longer have a navmenu. (We never actually did, we had a menu. But it wasn't for nav'ing.)
